Noriko Awaya

b. Nori Awaya, 12 August 1907, Aomori, Japan, d. 20 Sept 1999. Awaya was created the daughter of the rich draper who proceeded to go bankrupt when she is at her late teenagers. In 1923 she inserted Toyo University of Music, initial focusing on piano and in vocals. She payed for her education by operating like a nude model for artwork college students and painters. She authorized with Polydor Information in 1929, getting the first vocalist of well-known songs to get graduated from an orthodox college of music. Awaya relocated to Columbia Information in 1931, when she experienced her first strike, ‘Watashi Konogoro Youtsuyo’ (‘I’m Sense Therefore Down These Times’).
