A quintet from Western world Philadelphia that shaped around 1962, these were originally called the Fabulous Real estate agents, they shortened the moniker if they recorded “You’re Everything” b/w “You Were DESIGNED FOR Me personally” (1965) on P&L Information. The lineup contains Nat Williams (lead), Kenneth Davis (initial tenor), Warren Lundy (baritone/bass), Jimmy Downs (second baritone), and Norman Bowen (second tenor). The discharge did nothing at all except get yourself a few regional spins on r / c WHAT and WDAS. Their last release, “Difficulty” b/w “The Like I HAD FASHIONED,” arrived on Liberty Bell Information; Ronnie Walker co-wrote both tracks, but the outcomes again had been disappointing and aside from some unreleased paths, the Real estate agents’ recordings found an abrupt halt. Jimmy Downs was murdered in Western world Philadelphia; disheartened within the tragedy, the Real estate agents stop gigging as well as attempting. They didn’t perform once again for twenty years, rising from hibernation only once DJ Charlie Horner requested they sing on his radio present.
