Natural Acoustic Band

This trio was formed in 1969, in Milngavie, Glasgow, Scotland. There have been several personnel changes however the important line-up was Tom Hoy (b. 5 Feb 1950, Glasgow, Scotland; acoustic guitar, vocals), Robin Thyne (b. 1 November 1950, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Britain; acoustic guitar, vocals), and Krysia Kocjan, pronounced Kotsyan (b. 10 August 1953, Craigendoran, Scotland; vocals). Kocjan experienced a Polish dad along with a Flemish mom. The group performed their 1st gig on 5 November 1969, at Alloa Functioning Men’s Club. Ultimately, the press found on Kocjan’s vocal skill, and they had been increasingly billed because the Organic Acoustic Band, offering Krysia Kocjan. Sometimes, the group was augmented by way of a Chinese language drummer and an Australian bass participant, a truly worldwide line-up.
