My Name

Tacoma-based My Name got hardcore-tinged pop-punk a supplementary step using their smart lyrics, complicated drum preparations and melodic vocal hooks. In 1992, they released their debut recording, Megacrush, on Seattle label, C/Z Information. Megacrush earned some essential acclaim and helped build their name in the Northwest. Immediately after its launch, the band obtained spots on trips with All and Poor Religious beliefs, which helped create a nationwide pursuing for the music group. In 1993, they released their second recording, Wet Hillsides and Big Tires. By this time around they had opened up for a complete crop of effective rings, including Soundgarden, Primus and Jesus Lizard. In 1996, the music group adopted up with their third recording, Stones for the Jocks, on Quick Records.
