Mrs. Greenbird

German folk-pop duo Mrs. Greenbird found prominence after earning the reality Television talent competition The X Element in 2012. Created in 2006, Mrs. Greenbird features vocalist/songwriter Sarah Nücken and guitarist/vocalist Steffen Brückner. Both experienced previous experience performing in their chapel choirs, and Brückner was a good worship head in his cathedral in Cologne. Both met while showing up at regional folk night clubs, and with time became a duo on-stage and off. Mrs. Greenbird performed the folk circuit in Germany and opened up for American professional and musician Tim Robbins before these were chosen for The X Aspect, where they performed tracks by such performers as Radiohead, the Swell Period, and Alanis Morissette. In past due 2012, Mrs. Greenbird released their self-titled debut record on Columbia; the record spent 23 weeks in the German graphs, eventually increasing to number 1, while the record peaked at number 2 in Austria and amount nine is certainly Switzerland. A live record implemented in 2013.
