Morning Parade

Produced in Harlow in 2008, the Essex five-piece Morning hours Parade contain lead vocalist Steve Sparrow, guitarist Chad Thomas, bassist Phil Titus, keyboardist Ben Giddings, and drummer Andy Hayes. Merging trance-style synths with anthemic rock and roll guitars in the same vein as Friendly Fires, Delphic, and Fenech-Soler, their enthusiastic audio and low-key key live gigs quickly attracted the interest of varied record labels, and finally led to a major-label cope with Parlophone. Pursuing support slot machines on U.K. trips by Florence + the device, Ash, and Tinchy Stryder, they started work on materials with Blur maker Jason Cox at Damon Albarn’s 13 Studios. Their 1st single, “Beneath the Celebrities,” saw launch in past due 2010; it had been accompanied by a succession of singles (“A&E,” “ON YOUR OWN Shoulder blades,” and “Us & Ourselves”) in 2011. The band’s self-titled debut full-length recording arrived in early 2012 on Parlophone. In 2014, Morning hours Parade returned using their sophomore recording, Pure Adulterated Pleasure, featuring creation from Pet Collective’s Ben Allen.
