Moneda Dura

Cuban pop/rock and roll music group Moneda Dura was shaped in the past due ’90s by singer/bassist Hugo Fernández and singer/guitarist Nassiry Lugo, both learners in Havana’s university. Both were later joined up with by percussionist Miguel Alejandro Atencio, guitarist Addiel Perera, and drummer Osmel Prado. The group after that documented their debut record, known as Cuando Duerme la Habana, which included the hit one “La Buena Onda.” Playing an assortment of Afro-Cuban rhythms and rock and roll, Moneda Dura came back in 2000 with Mucho Cuida’o, climbing graphs in Cuba, Spain, and Mexico with “Lola.”
