Molina & Johnson

Made up of lauded indie folk songwriters Jason Molina (Magnolia Electric Co., Tracks: Ohia) and can Johnson (Centro-Matic, South San Gabriel), Molina & Johnson found fruition in ’09 2009 using the arrival of the eponymous debut recording. Released for the Secretly Canadian label, the record was manufactured in February by using relatives and buddies, including Howard Draper, Bryan VanDivier, Scott Danbom, Magnolia Electric powered Co.’s Michael Kapinus, and Texas-based songwriter Sara Jaffe. The soulful, rustic, and poetic 14-music collection found its way to early November.
