Mo-Ho-Bish-O-Pi

Acquiring their name from an extinct Hawaiian parrot, the London-based Mo-Ho-Bish-O-Pi met up in 1996 beneath the influences from the Flaming Lips, Beck, Sonic Youth, and Pavement. Comprising previous Fletch F Fletch Shepherd drummer Richard Arnold, previous One fourth Foil bassist Mike Carter, and guitarist/vocalist Martin Bimrose, the three-piece accompanies an audio of digital xylophones and Casio keyboards with their noisy pop brand. Sofa Records ultimately released Mo-Ho-Bish-O-Pi’s debut EP, Two Tier Drinking water Skier, in 1999.
