Millie Scott

Millie Scott sang in gospel organizations through the entire South before she switched to jazz. Scott was created in Savannah, Georgia and was an associate from the Pilgrim Gospel Performers as well as the Sermonettes. Scott sang with Bobby Dilworth AS WELL AS THE Blazers, then relocated to NEW YORK. She did program work before developing the Glories and trimming the solitary “I Stand Accused” for Day. Scott eventually relocated to Detroit after performing some sessions using the Temptations. She created Quiet Beauty and toured together while doing classes using the Temptations and Spinners. Willie Mitchell agreed upon Quiet Style to Hi within the ’70s. But Scott shifted, doing periods with Al Green. She produced Cut Cup with Ortheia Barnes in 1976, and remained with them until 1979.
