Michael Vidal

As an associate of the LA music group Abe Vigoda, Michael Vidal presided over four albums’ worthy of of hyperactive, colorful art pop. When the music group split in the first 2010s, Vidal struck from his personal and adopted a fresh design. His debut recording, Dream Middle, which first arrived on cassette in 2013 because of L.A. label Big Pleasure, saw Vidal acquiring inspiration through the advanced U.K. pop from the ’80s, with similar time directed at the chiming electric guitar bits of Durutti Column, the introspective soul-searching of Was feeling, and the even noises of Prefab Sprout. Vidal’s documenting group included Ryan Beal on bass and Tabor Allen on drums. The tape captured the ear of the people at Couple Skate Information plus they reissued it in June of 2015 on all forms.
