Multi-instrumentalist Martin Jenkins was area of the middle-’60s British folk revival, and made his standard saving debut on Second Springtime (1969) by Matthews’ Southern Comfort and ease. He was an associate of the intensifying pop music group Dando Shaft from 1969 until 1972, and became a member of Hedgehog Pie. He used Bert Jansch’s music group for a while, and rejoined his previous Dando Shaft bandmate Kevin Dempsey in Whippersnapper, alongside Dave Swarbrick and Chris Leslie. His skills on a variety of devices, including violin, cello, bass, and acoustic guitar, has positioned him in popular as a program musician. He relocated in and out of varied bands over the 1990s, going after his desire for traditional Balkan music, furthermore to playing classes for various performers, including Shirley Collins.
