The members of Mars Electric powered met up in 1996 in Birmingham, AL, beneath the name Desire. The group, motivated by arena rock and roll performers, is a car for the tracks of lead vocalist and guitarist Jacob Bunton, who’s backed by guitarist Chris Simmons, bass participant Carl Hopper, and drummer Matt Finn. They truly became the first brand-new band agreed upon to A&R professional John Kalodner’s Family portrait label, an integral part of Columbia Information, and released their debut record, Gorgeous Something, in past due February 2000.
