Mark W. Knoll

Dr. Tag Knoll is usually a scholar and publisher focusing on the music from the pre-Classical period, as well as with Germanic vocabulary and tradition. While students at the University or college of Michigan, he utilized computerized statistical analyses of pitch and rhythmic ideals in disputed functions from the sons of J.S. Bach so that they can set up definitive authorship. Supplemental research in harpsichord overall performance (with Edward Parmentier) resulted in a pastime in the building and refurbishment of this device. In 2000, he founded Steglein Posting, a venture specialized in the dissemination of previously un-issued functions in three styles: the first string quartet, the first key pad concerto, and singspiel.
