Upon being successful the 2007 period of Pop Idol in Sweden, Marie Picasso embarked on the solo career, you start with her chart-topping debut album, THE TRICK (2007). Picasso was created Lilly Marie Pettersson on Apr 24, 1979, in Västerås, Sweden, and her performing profession unsuccessfully commenced in 2002 when she sang the theme melody for the German tv program Eva — Ganz Mein Fall, “Inform the Globe,” but didn’t leverage this functionality into a documenting contract. She do manage to protected some airtime on tv, however, showing up on displays including YOUR GOVERNMENT. In 2007 she gained the television performing competition Pop Idol in Sweden, which catapulted her to popularity. Agreed upon to Sony BMG, she released a few singles past due in the entire year, including a cover of “Flashdance…Just what a Feeling,” which became a hit, and “This Moment,” which became a smash hit, debuting at number 1 over the Swedish singles chart. Her full-length record debut, THE TRICK (2007), premiered two weeks afterwards and in addition debuted at number 1.
