Marcus Hook Roll Band

Marcus Hook Move Music group wasn’t a long-lived music group, nor did they get very much attention if they were dynamic between the many years of 1972 and 1974. Even so, the studio-based group occupies a significant put in place Australian rock and roll & roll background because this creation of famous suppliers Harry Vanda and George Youthful also presented George’s brothers Malcolm and Angus Youthful, who would carry on to create AC/DC following the dissolution of Marcus Hook Move Music group. Musically, MHRB didn’t audio very much like AC/DC whatsoever. There have been echoes from the Easybeats, Vanda/Young’s big ’60s achievement, but they had been nearer to the fizzy bubblegum from the Nice, just with heavier guitars. That was all obvious on the lone album, Stories of Aged Grand Daddy, which made an appearance in Australia in 1973 and was been successful by many singles. None from the recordings had been popular and quickly the project found a finish, with Vanda/Youthful pursuing an extremely successful production profession highlighted by the first AC/DC records. Stories of Aged Grand Daddy got its 1st wide international launch in an extended release in 2014 with a Compact disc that also included the non-LP singles.
