Mi Ami drummer Damon Palermo began DJing and saving off-kilter dance music that touched on home, techno, and rave beneath the name Magic Contact in 2011. Starting up using the like-minded L.A. label 100% Silk, Magic Contact released the debut solitary “I COULD Feel heat” in 2011. After liberating two collaborative 12″ singles in 2012 (“Simply Wanna Experience” with Sapphire Feels and “Anywhere You Desire Me” with Ital) on 100% Silk, Palermo released the Nothing at all Even more EP in 2013 for the German label Accurate Love. For Magic Touch’s 1st full recording, he jumped back again to 100% Silk and Palermo Home Gang was released in early 2014. Featuring visitor looks and collabos with Sorcerer, Newbody, Ash Williams, and Octo Octa, the recording can be a pulsing homage to accommodate music.
