Miami-based exotic act Magia Latina was shaped in the early-’90s by Puerto Rican Edwin Ladrón, who was simply joined up with in 1994 by ex-Connecticut Band singer María Fernández. The music group transferred from Connecticut to South Florida in 1997 to create its initial record, La Rosita, released that same calendar year.
