Lucid 3

Lucid 3 certainly are a music group whose sound lays somewhere within folk, rock and roll, and trip-hop. Shaped in Auckland in 1999, they contain frontwoman Victoria Girling-Butcher on vocals, guitars, and tips, Marcus Lawson on support vocals, bass, and tips, and Derek Metivier on drums and loops. They developed their own indie label, Lupin Music, release a their first record, Working Down the Tips, in 2002. The implemented this with another indie release, All Occasions Resulting in This, 2 yrs afterwards. It reached number 2 on the brand new Zealand indie music chart.
