Lord Runningclam

Like many electronic music makers, Lord Runningclam 1st earned his music stripes within the rock and roll & roll picture. Back in days past, he passed his considerably much less original but even more utilitarian provided name of David de Laski. He used various rock and roll bands for the East Coastline before becoming a member of up with drummer Alex Spurkel, vocalist Roxanne Morganstern, and programmer Wayne Lumb in LA and setting up Electric powered Skychurch, among the frontrunners within the electro-fusion genre. When Skychurch was authorized to Moonshine Information in the first ’90s, de Laski discovered his long term musical home. Many years later on, he found out his “alter ego” Lord Runningclam, a spaced-out, experimental groovester who creates trip-hop music for the psychedelic era. Runningclam’s 1st six-song EP, Fun for your Family, premiered in 1998 and received play in night clubs and on substitute music programs all over the world. Two of the paths had been released on vinyl fabric a few weeks later on. The artist’s fresh moniker and fresh style triggered critics and music enthusiasts some consternation, but most concur that this incarnation can be interesting, though not quite befitting mass usage. The fusion of beats, spoken term (added by Ken Nordine), and sound examples creates a intensifying sound that attracts musical intellectuals within the digital and organic realms.
