LNZNDRF

LNZNDRF, pronounced “Lanzendorf,” is a cooperation between your National’s Scott and Bryan Devendorf and trombonist Ben Lanz (aka Hoferlanz) of Beirut, that has played on the highway and in the studio room for the Country wide. With tracks drawn from improvisations documented in a chapel in Cincinnati, Ohio more than a period of significantly less than three times, their eponymous debut premiered with little progress fanfare in Feb 2016 within the 4AD label. Though not really totally divorced from the task of their mother or father band, the recording inhabited a darker, post-punk audio that recalled titles like the Treatment and New Purchase more than users’ additional incarnations.
