Born Adam Kelly, rapper LMNO was raised in Long Seaside, CA, within the browse and skate picture. There is also a flourishing underground hip-hop picture in southern California, which influenced the budding musician to begin with crafting his personal demonstration tapes. The effort paid off, ultimately netting LMNO a verse on “B.F. Audio Examine,” a monitor from Group of Power’s 1993 self-titled recording. However, his accurate break found its way to 1995, when close friends Key-Kool and DJ Rhettmatic released Kozmonautz — not merely placing the stage for the Visionaries team, but also providing the youthful rapper a chance to rhyme alongside Ras Kass within the music “E=MC5,” which greatly increased his general public profile (it’s rumored that whenever Eminem visited California in 1997 to utilize Dr. Dre, he asked what LMNO was about). In 1998, the Visionaries — made up of Key-Kool, Rhettmatic, 2Mformer mate, LMNO, Lord Zen, and Dannu — released their debut, Galleries, adopted two years later on by Sophomore Jinx. LMNO after that set about documenting materials under his personal name, and quickly the singles “Strike the Fence,” “Radiant,” and “Grin & Carry It” — the second option two which had been after that included on his 2001 debut, Keep My Name Out whose name described the acronym behind his name — had been released via the Fight Axe label. Though his rhymes frequently described Jesus and abstaining from meats, LMNO didn’t wish to label himself like a Christian or vegetarian rapper, preferring to help keep himself available to all viewers.
