Lennie Hayton’s profession could be easily split into two. In early stages he was a jazz-oriented pianist and arranger involved with classic jazz schedules of the past due 1920’s. With the middle-1940’s he was mainly an arranger for orchestras and quite active as a studio room musician. Hayton excelled during both elements of his musical lifestyle. He started playing piano when he was six. One of is own first professional careers was dealing with Spencer Clark in the tiny Ramblers in 1926. He spent 1927 using the Cass Hagen Orchestra and was with Paul Whiteman during Sept. 1928 until Might 1930.
