Following the 1995 breakup from the Omaha noise outfit Ritual Device, the three staying members — Eric Ebers (drums/vocals), Mike Saklar (guitar/ vocals), and Randy Cotton (bass/ vocals) — continued to create Ravine. The trio continuing the Ritual Gadget approach to bass-driven angst that appeared up to famous brands the Jesus Lizard, Shellac, and Killdozer. -ismist Information ultimately captured this audio 2 yrs after their development using the 1997 launch of Ravine’s self-titled full-length.
