Leisureworld began in Toronto, where Cade Lakeshore and Patrick Worthington discovered their mutual fascination with rock & move while functioning third shift in a printing press. Both formed a music group known as Lyposucker, and started to bang out concepts on two guitars along with a crappy drum machine. Following the addition of hard-hitting drummer Brent Empress, the trio became Truck Park, and started to gig around Toronto, but quickly had to improve their name because of its possession by an American combo. Lakeshore, Worthington, and Empress became Leisureworld, installed having a Buffalo, NY-based administration team, and continuing playing out around Toronto, while at exactly the same time laying down paths in a friend’s studio room.
