Kwest ‘Tha Madd Ladd, a real freestyler from Queens who was simply inspired like a youngsters by hometown heroes LL Great J and Run-D.M.C., started writing rhymes during junior high. He graduated from senior high school near the top of his course and entered NY State University or college at Syracuse. After he fulfilled Don Charnas in 1992, both began working collectively on many demos. Kwest remaining school to focus on music full-time, and his 1st solitary, “Lubrication,” do well on rap radio. Then authorized to American Recordings, which released THAT IS My First Recording in August 1996.
