Kristian Kristensen

An Oslo-based singer/songwriter whose soaring falsetto has drawn evaluations to famous brands Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley, Wayne Blake, and Antony as well as the Johnsons, Kristian Kristensen 1st came to general public prominence in 2013 like a contestant within the Norwegian version of the favorite reality series/singing competition The Tone of voice. His soulful mixture of folk and ambient pop got him a cope with Common, with whom he released the 2013 solitary “Sjansen (i et hjørne gjemt i natta).” Following singles “Lyset,” “Kan Du Lære Mæ?,” “Du Som Snakke,” and “Varm” helped to help expand solidify his status among the region’s most encouraging young vocalist/songwriters, and finally helped property him a cope with Warner Bros., which released his debut EP, Før Det Blir For Seint (Before It’s As well Past due), in 2016.
