Kelpe

Kelpe may be the saving alias of London-based electronic designer and maker Kel McKeown. Developing up in the university or college city of Loughborough, Britain, McKeown first started tinkering with music as an adolescent, utilizing a Commodore Amiga family computer and a sampler to create rudimentary rave beats in the first ’90s. Though he performed in a few teenage rings, music drifted towards the wayside for a while and he didn’t positively begin his profession until after school whenever a friend persuaded him to send a demonstration to London-based label DC Recordings.
