Kiran Leonard

Given birth to and raised in Greater Manchester, Britain, Kiran Leonard investments within a literate, captivatingly uncomfortable edition of indie rock and roll inspired partly by Dirty Projectors. Elevated within a musical home with multiple guitar-playing siblings and a dad who proved helpful in radio and was previously a specialist musician, the multi-instrumentalist acquired started playing mandolin by age group five. He graduated to the bigger electric guitar at eight, around enough time he began writing brief, classical-type parts. By enough time he was 13, Leonard was uploading his function to music-sharing site Bandcamp. The precocious teenage performed over 20 equipment on his debut LP, Bowler Hat Soup, a spontaneous, occasionally rambling group of experimental pop released yourself of Glory in 2013. The Abandoning Noble Goals EP made an appearance on Bandcamp in 2015. Ever complicated, Leonard presented his sophomore record using a 16-minute lead one (“Pink Fruits”) before Moshi Moshi Information released the full-length Grapefruit in the springtime of 2016.
