Kevin Mark Trail

The soulful voice for the Roads’ groundbreaking First Pirate Materials, Kevin Tag Trail also released a short but critically acclaimed solo career within the mid-noughties. Delivered in Wembley, North Western world London in 1980 to Jamaican parents, he was raised hearing his mother’s preferred reggae performers, Bob Marley and Gregory Isaacs, and spirit performers, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Question. Recruited by Mike Skinner, he made an appearance on two paths on the Roads’ award-winning debut record (“Let’s Push Issues Forwards” and “SAME EXACT Thing”), which resulted in a solo cope with EMI in 2004. Made by Dan Carey (Sly & Robbie), his debut record, Just Living, premiered to important acclaim but small product sales, and after support slot machine games on U.K. travels of Beverley Knight, N.E.R.D., and Massive Strike, he was lowered with the label. Path has continuing to tour using the Roads collective and it has since made an appearance on “Eastern Eye,” a monitor on Nitin Sawhney’s Human being recording, and individually released an acoustic EP, Sketches, in 2007.
