Defeating acoustic singer/songwriter Kato Callebaut in the ultimate, Kevin Kayirangwa was crowned the winner of Belgian TV talent display Idool in 2011. Released simply fourteen days after his success, he reached number 2 along with his debut record, MANY THANKS, and scored strikes using a cover edition of Cee Lo Green’s “Ignore You” and first singles “She’s Got Movements,” “Crashing,” and “Completed Offer.” A season afterwards, he teamed up with 2007 champion Dean Delannoit and fifth-place 2011 contestant Dennis De Neyer to create the boy music group 3M8S.
