Kate Earl

Songwriter Kate Earl was raised in Chugiak, Alaska, where she began her profession by mixing the phrasing of Kitty Power and Björk using the folk-chanteuse impact of Joni Mitchell. Although greatly associated with her regional church, Earl relocated to LA in 2004 and quickly produced an impression out, rating airplay on KCRW and Indie 103.1 while getting the hearing of Record Collection, a Venice-based label that eventually signed her.
