Adding just a little prog and pop to indie rock and roll, Portland, OR’s Kaddisfly steered free from the popular styles of the day and released the powerful EP Honorable Point out in 2001. Another EP, Humania, made an appearance a yr later on and was adopted in 2003 by their 1st full-length, DO YOU REALIZE People Can Soar? Buy Our Purpose; We’ll Buy A Unicorn from 2005 discovered the music group — vocalist/pianist Chris Ruff, guitarist Aaron Tollefson, bassist Kile Brewer, drummer Beau Kuther, and guitarist/percussionist Kelsey Kuther — for the Hopeless label. Fall 2006’s EP The Four Months (released digitally and in a restricted tell you Hopeless) served like a precursor towards the gang’s following full-length, Collection Sail the Prairie, released in early March 2007.
