José Peña Suazo

Dominican trumpet participant, composer, and arranger José Peña got mixed up in local tropical picture after going to music classes, joining Cuco Valoy’s orchestra, and composing “Un Millonario” and “Desilusión,” among various other music. In 1989, José Peña led a music group known as la Artillería, shortly taking part in Cocoband, executing alongside Alfonso “Pochi” Vásquez and Kinito Mendez. After playing within a project known as la Rockabanda, José Peña produced his very own group, la Banda Gorda, shortly documenting its debut record, Libre Al Fin.
