John Lindberg

A reliable, sympathetic accompanist and solid soloist, bassist John Lindberg’s best-known for his function in the String Trio of NY. Lindberg researched music in Ann Arbor, MI, before shifting to NY in 1977. He performed and recorded within the Individual Arts Outfit with Joseph Bowie and Bobo Shaw in the past due ’70s, and caused Anthony Braxton from 1978 to 1985. They performed both in European countries and America. Lindberg was a founding person in the String Trio of NY in 1979, and presently remains using the ensemble. He also proved helpful within a trio with Jimmy Lyons and Sunny Murray in 1980. Lindberg resided and proved helpful in Paris from 1980 to 1983, leading little combos, playing single, and employed in an organization led by Murray that also highlighted John Tchicai. Lindberg provides recorded being a head for Cecma, Dark Saint, West Wind flow, ITM, and Audio Aspects.
