Oddbox

Breathing some existence in to the dormant college rock and roll sound from the mid-to-late 80’s, Oddbox performs warm and amiable pop that revolves round the endearing tone of voice of Mike Grebb. A lovable loser in the custom of Gordon Gano, Grebb and bassist Miss Daly created the music group in 1999 from the ashes of their earlier trio. If they fulfilled drummer David Mason and guitarist Ian Maynard, the lineup was solidified as well as the band started to play the brand new England area frequently. A 2000 demonstration caught the interest of Edgimo Information, who released their debut Stray From Reasoning in nov 2002. Made by Basehead-collaborator Marco Delmar, the recording launched their jangly audio and fat-free songwriting strategy.
