Multi-instrumentalist John Faulkner provides recorded and/or performed with Ewan MacColl’s Critic’s Group, De Danaan and his ex-wife, Dolores Keane, so when a soloist.His greatest success, however, has come because the author of soundtracks for BBC documentary movies, who owns a documenting studio in State Galway as well as the producer of albums by Keane, John Beag, The Lonely Stranded Music group and Alec Finn. Faulkner co-produced De Danaan’s albums, Ballroom and Hibernian Rhpsody. In 1989, Faulkner’s melody, “Lion IN THE Cage,” created for Nelson Mandela, continued to be at the very top position from the Irish music graphs for a month.
