Jerome Bassano was an associate from the Italian category of music artists that lived in Britain and served in the courtroom of Queen Elizabeth We. He was also resident in the courts of Adam I and Charles I. The extant functions related to Jerome consist of allemandes, fantasias and madrigals. These were orchestrated in five or six parts.
