The Sunday-night disk jockey at Manchester, Britain, nightspot the NOUVEAU RICHE BUSINESSMAN Café, Jason Boardman has generated a parallel career like a singer, songwriter, and arranger. A previous person in Boardwalk, a music group he distributed to Dave Haslam and Elliot Eastwick, he collaborated with Dave Piccioni with an album, CRISIS: THE TIMES OF YEAR, in 1996. Since 1998, Boardman spent some time working with Ben Ashdown, previously of electronica music group Truant. After liberating some golf club/dance singles, including “The Nude Ape BC,” “Our Sad Track,” and “Switch Yo Brain,” they became a member of with Richard Moonboots to record an recording, Neither Work Not really Amusement, in 2001.
