Hector & Tito

Hector & Tito, aka Los Bambinos, were a pioneering reggaeton duo in existance from 1998 to 2003, and the two divide and continued to lucrative single professions as Hector and Tito. Thereafter each described himself as “Un Bambino” relative to their prior nicknames, though Hector, relatively confusingly, transformed his name a few times, initial to Hector Bambino “Un Dad” (Los Rompe Discotekas, 2006) and only to Hector un Father (The Poor Boy, 2007). Right before Hector & Tito divide in 2003, they earned a Latin Billboard Prize for Latin Rap Record of the entire year, to get a la Reconquista (2002). In 2005, around enough time reggaeton was developing in reputation and industrial clout, Machete Music together with VI Music released Period Finale 1998-2003, a compilation of features through the duo’s back again catalog. Tito agreed upon with EMI Televisa, debuting in 2006 with Top grade; Hector, even more notably, agreed upon with Roc la Familia (a department of Def Jam beneath the reign of Jay-Z) and debuted afterwards that same season with a Compact disc mixtape, Los Rompe Discotekas.
