Hawaii

Comprising Eddie Day time (vocals), Marty Friedman (guitar), Tom Azcredo (guitar), Joe Galisha (bass) and Jeff Graves (drums), Hawaii were one in a series of rings to highlight the virtuoso guitar features of Friedman. Following the collapse of Deuce, Vixen (not really the all-female quartet) and Aloha, Friedman created Hawaii in the first 80s. Three albums surfaced for any succession of brands, none quite taking his true capabilities. The Natives Are Restless was most likely the best exemplory case of an unequal discography, but immediately after its launch Friedman was on the road once again. After two albums with Cacophony he shifted to a single career before becoming a member of Megadeth.
