Trumpet, flugelhorn. He’s not really Canada’s most widely known jazz musician, but Guido Basso ‘s been around since the middle-’60s, playing tart, popular licks, and proceeding large and little bands. He’s produced mellow mainstream periods, completed Afro-Latin and big music group schedules, plus bop and originals.
