Grupo Límite

The Monterrey-based Tejano sextet Grupo Limite was led by singer Alicia Villarreal; debuting in 1996 using the LP Por Puro Amor, they truly became an overnight feeling, selling more than a million copies from the record on the effectiveness of the chart-topping strikes “Vete,” “Quiero” and “Te Aprovechas.” Rompiendome Un Alma soon implemented, and in 1997 Grupo Limite came back with Sentimientos. En Vivo-En Concierto made an appearance two years afterwards; subsequent outings consist of 2000’s Por Encima de Todo.
