Gordon Binkerd

Binkerd studied in South Dakota Wesleyan University, the Eastman College with Harvard School. He offered as teacher of music on the School of Illinois. His compositions are tonal but include chromatic lines with contrapuntal textures. He has the capacity to compose lengthy lines within complicated textures, such as his Piano Sonata.
