Glenn Jones

While he’s under no circumstances been as commanding an R&B/urban vocalist as he is at his gospel times, Glenn Jones has even so managed an effective switch from religious to secular materials. Norman Connors helped Jones make the move around in 1980, offering him on the tune for his LP Consider It towards the Limit. Jones afterwards toured with Connors, and in addition sang on Mr. C. He agreed upon with RCA in 1983, and released a mini-album, which garnered a high 30 R&B one in “I Am Someone.” Another LP, Finesse, was made by Leon Sylvers and provided Jones his first proper smash, the quantity three R&B strike “Display Me.” Jones’ duet with Dionne Warwick was the theme tune for the 1984 tv series Finder of Lost Loves. He also sang “Chat Me involved with it,” that was featured within the film Youngblood. Jones still left RCA for Jive in 1987, and liked another big strike with “We’ve ONLY Begun (The Love ISN’T Over),” which reached number 2 R&B in 1987. He documented for Jive until 1992, shifting to Atlantic for Right here I Go Once again; Right here I Am implemented two years afterwards, with It’s Period showing up in 1998.
