Oblomov

Oblomov comes from the Czech Republic, where Honza Vanek (vocals, guitars, drums), Pavel Dlabaja (guitars, vocals), and Martin Hora (bass, keyboards, development, saxophone, etc.) started formulating their astronomical dark metal in the entire year 2000. Their 1st demo, Last Destination, was finished a year later on, and 2003’s Wishing the Renaissance EP paved just how for any full-length debut in 2005’s Mighty Cosmic Dances, offering music inspired from the regimented, quasi-industrial dark metallic of Samael or Anaal Nathrakh, and lyrics educated by technology fiction writers like Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverberg.
