Gipsyland

Anchored by Kiko Motos, the lead touring vocalist for the Gipsy Kings and his son, Juanito, Gipsyland was a group that mixed the heritage of flamenco music with contemporary rhythms and dance mixes. Their debut record, Viva la Música, was made by Metro (the London-based group of Tag Taylor and Brian Rawling who created Cher’s record Believe, which Gipsyland shows up.) It had been released by Hollywood Information in early 2000 and was supplemented by many 12″ single produces. Two years afterwards, Gipsyland released the colorful noises of Arte.
