Ginger Johnson

b. c.1920, Nigeria, d. 1972, Lagos, Nigeria. Percussionist Johnson emigrated to London in the past due 40s, where one of is own first shows was using the orchestra led by Edmundo Ros. Aswell as being broadly respected inside the expatriate African community, both being a drummer and herbalist, Johnson was a well-known amount in London’s counter-top culture through the past due 60s, as head of Ginger Johnson’s African Drummers (who performed alongside the Moving Stones through the popular Hyde Recreation area Concert) and supervisor from the Iroko Golf club. He came back to Nigeria in the first 70s, but passed away of a coronary attack within a couple of months.
