The Nigerian-born son of the former diplomat, Frank Agbro studied at Worcester Academy and afterwards attended the Rochester Institute of Technology. It had been while he was surviving in Washington, functioning and taking evening classes at an area university, how the enthusiastic musician begun to talk about his interest for Afro-Caribbean rhythms, developing his own music group, Frankojazz, in 1995 and documenting Sunset in Nairobi.
