Fort Lean

The users of Brooklyn-based indie rock quintet Fort Low fat first met in Connecticut in the liberal arts school Wesleyan University or college. Guitarist Zach Fried, bassist Jake Aron, and drummer Sam Ubl in the beginning formed a music group on their 1st day of college with vocalist/guitarist Keenan Mitchell and keyboardist Will Runge becoming a member of a couple of years later on. Reconvening in NY, Fort Lean started in earnest in 2011 using the launch of their self-titled, self-released debut EP. Presenting a variety of jangly, melodic artwork pop and subtly psychedelic textures, they implemented up a season afterwards with another EP called Modification Your Name. Their two indie produces had been well-received critically plus they began opening displays for rings like HAIM, Upcoming Islands, and Unidentified Mortal Orchestra. After putting your signature on with Brooklyn indie Ooh La La Information, they shipped their full-length debut, Quiet Time, in early 2015.
